Zenutrients

When buying beauty and bath products, do you often check the ingredients if it contains harmful chemicals? Now you don't have to worry, Zenutrients offers a wide range of products that are all-natural and effective. They have a lovely store at the 2nd floor of V-mall Greenhills, and they also have small kiosks in other malls.

One of their bestsellers is the gugo shampoo which according to their site 'contains extract and pulp of dried matured gugo vines. Gugo has been used by Filipinos even earlier than the year 1500. It contains saponin, a plant hormone that is credited for its cleansing and hair growing properties.'
According to their staff this is best for those who have thinning hair and this prevents hair fall.
Their #1 bestseller is the Special Blend Massage Oil with Ginger. If you're the type of person who loves a good massage at home, this one is for you. It costs around P350 for a 250 ml bottle.

Next in their bestselling list are the scrubs. I'm not really into scrubs since I'm always in a hurry to take a bath but I changed my mind when I learned that using body scrubs have a lot of benefits. The most popular one would be Coffee which some say helps to reduce cellulite. They also have Green tea - nature's best anti-oxidant, Oatmeal and Goat's Milk and a lot more.

They have All is Well which is their wellness product to breathe in for headaches, travel sickness or dizzyness.
I bought my second bottle of Aloe Vera Conditioner P250. I think I mentioned in a previous post that this product is easy to rinse and it lessened my hair fall. Plus, it makes my hair really soft when it's dry. Some people still juice out aloe vera leaves as part of their beauty regimen. I just opted for the more convenient version since we don't have aloe vera in our backyard. =P
I also gave in to my body scrub curiosity and tried their Sweet Pea and Honeysuckle (P 225) which smells like Victoria's Secret perfume with beads =P

I'm not sure if their kiosks carry all their products, but this branch at GH seems to be complete.
According to their staff, they will be opening a bigger store at Kapitolyo so watch out for that.
Since their store at V-mall is a bit hidden, you may seek assistance from the concierge desk for directions.
You can also check out their website http://zenutrients.com/ for their products. However, some of the new items are not yet included.
Special thanks to JK for letting me know about this place. Have a fun weekend! =)

Star Finder Optical

A lot of people have been asking me where I bought my eyewear that's why I'm sharing it with you. =)
I got it from Star-finder Boutique which has a lot of Korean eyeglasses. I got a light-weight frame from HumanEye Korea which is good for everyday wear. A lot of people (even celebrities) are digging the nerdy look with the classic wide-framed lenses probably because of the casual look and most importantly for comfort.

Who would think twice seeing how affordable it is?
Having fun with the different styles =)
Photos of local and Korean celebrities are posted everywhere =P I was surprised that Martin Nievera's eyeglasses are from Star Finder =)
This is my "this-is-it" look when I finally decided what to buy.
Before purchasing, the staff would double check if your eye grade is still the same. You would go throught some vision tests that would only take around 5-10 minutes. Then you would only have to wait 45 minutes to an hour to get it fixed =) For the frame and multi-coated lenses I paid around P1,500, which is a good deal for an awesome pair of eye glasses. =)
Star-finder Boutique has branches at Festival Mall Muntinlupa, BF Homes Paranaque and Robinsons Ermita. I'm not sure if they have a website but you can check their FB page https://www.facebook.com/StarFinderOptical.ph?fref=ts

Bits of My 2 weeks

I'm back!! Okay, I owe my so-called 'readers' a lot of posts so I'm summarizing them all in here:

1. I've been eyeing a good organic shampoo and conditioner but instead got freebies from Tresemme and Syoss. I tested each brand for a week and got good results. Too bad what I need is organic =(
2. I love S&R's Smartfood White Cheddar, and I've been craving for it since forever. So when I saw Chimara's white cheddar, I knew I just had to buy a big bag =)

3. My seatmate Chin shared her good find from Book Sale. Lela Lee's Angry Little Girls. They are all funny and witty plus it was easy to finish hehe =P I can also relate to their negativity and craziness. =P

4. Kai's gift - Lip and Cheek Stain from Body Shop in #1. A quick fix for a fresh and simple look. With one 'device' you could give a color on those pale lips and give your cheeks a natural flush.

5. Merienda with mom at Mary Grace (Podium). We suddenly craved for grilled ensaymadas and I added my favorite Summer Squash soup. This could have been perfect with a cup of hot choco or coffee =P

6. Saw this adorable Marc Jacobs glitter-finish leather mouse ballet flats and it was too cute!=P

7. Finally bought some of my organic gifts at the Echo Store (Podium). I'll be back for more items specifically the Oryspa products for me. =P A good shop to buy giveaways and locally-made food.

8. Theo & Philo Dark Chocolate with Green Mango and Sea Salt from Kai. It had a very unique taste, blending different flavors - sour, salty and sweet. Until now I still can't describe it.

9. Dressed up as Elle Driver (Asian version) at our Annual Year-end Xmas Party.

10. Introduced my planner's new partner: A Cross pen and pencil duo c/o Mom =P

11. I'm just amazed how eyeliner makes the eyes more dramatic. This is my first eye liner attempt and I hope this would do the magic and not sabotage it =P I love how it is easy to apply and how fast it dries. The only problem is I really don't know how to apply it. As they say, practice makes perfect. So if you see my face looking all weird and messy, you know what I did =P

Sorry to be missing in action. Just had our CPU repaired and the laptop had been busy with my brother. I'm sure to write more posts this coming week and I'm also planning to revamp my blog's look for 2013. (If the world would not end haha) Yihee I'm excited! More pahabol posts coming soon. Let's end this year with a bang! Happy Weekend!! =)

Juice Ko Po

I just picked up my 2 orders of Tipco Christmas Packs at The Little Store (San Juan). I purchased these from CashCashPinoy for only P150 per pack instead of P299. Isn't it a great deal? I was able to try Cranberry, Beetroot & Broccoli from a freebie at Puregold and I just loved it! A good alternative for softdrinks, coffee and alcohol. =P It is also a perfect gift for health buffs and diet freaks this Christmas. =)

Pack 1

Pack 2

Based on Tipco's FB page, Tipco is an all-natural beverage without the unnecessary preservatives, flavoring,  coloring and added sugar - just pure juice.
They are manufactured in Thailand but it is currently being distributed in the Philippines by a local company. The other flavors like Beetroot and Broccoli might sound disgusting but it's actually pretty good. My current favorite is Broccoli. With all the health benefits of these juices, you won't have a hard time making the kiddos drink it because it's really good. If you want to try their yummy flavors, they are available at all supermarkets.
I can't wait to try all the flavors. Cheers! =)

Bejeweled in Black

While walking with my friend Patty at a friend's bachelorette party, my favorite silver shoes suddenly gave up on me. =( I was thinking of buying Mighty Bond at 7-11 just to glue it all back but I was too scared it wouldn't work. To skip all the mess of repairing it, I decided to find another footwear instead.

Good thing Podium is still open around 9pm and it was just across the venue. Although I had to drag my left foot all the way there and cross ADB Avenue limping just to find a replacement. I was already desperate that I told myself if I find a flip flop I would buy it in a heartbeat =P (Keribels na sa porma) But thanks to Patty for suggesting CMG and we spotted this super cute flats for P1,500. Black suede flats with black 'jewels' and leopard print interior.

There was even a small treat, you could choose the color of your box with some surprise food for thought.
I actually chose cyan but instead they gave me periwinkle but it's good enough for me =)

This is now my go-to footwear because it's comfy, yet stylish. Can't wait to wear it this week!
Hope you loved it as much as I did. Happy Monday =)
